VEDAN KOLOD — folk music made in Siberia, now based in Serbia. In 2020, the VEDAN KOLOD entered the top 100 folk groups in the world according to the European world music chart, 2021 participated in the filming of the TV series «Epidemic — 2» (To The Lake — 2), recorded soundtracks for the Russian animated series based on fairy tales of the peoples of Russia «Mountain of Gems» (Gora Samotsvetov) and has released eight world-wide acclaimed albums on CPL-music and FireStorm Production.

Over the past 19 years the group has recorded and released 8 music albums («Tribes», «The dance of wood spirits», «Wolf’s path», «The Tale of Igor’s Campaign», «Gorodische», «Wild Games, «Fiori della mia Vita», «Live at Dom», «Birds») and five international collections of ethnic music: «Slavs. Part 1» (2008), «Slavs. Part 2» (2009), «Ritual» (2009), "Folk and great tunes from Russia"( CPL-music, 2020) and «Folk and Great Tunes from Siberia and Far East: (CPL-music, 2022). Vedan Kolod composed music for «To The Lake 2» series by Netflix (2022), a soundtrack for «Letter to my mother» photo exhibition (USA, 2017), a soundtrack for «Fiori dellamia vita» artistic exhibition (Milan, Italy, 2016) by Gian Paolo Barbieri and Branislav Jankic. Created and recorded music for soundtrack for «Khatan carpet’s tale» cartoon for «Gora samotsvetov» cartoon series for studio «Pilot» directed by Aleksandr Tatarsky.
